The parade of updates started by Wix continues this week with the release of June Yola improvements. Over the past month their devs have introduced a few new features aimed to improve the overall look, feel and performance of Yola-powered websites.
New Map Styles. Some of the biggest changes have been made to their Google Maps widget. From now on it supports ten different styles from Bright & Bubbly to Pale Dawn and Clean Cut. You can also adjust such widget properties as height, padding, alignment and auto width. You can also choose between the Satellite and Map viewing.
Banners. Banner customization has been made easier. Now you can choose to display banners on a per page basis. For instance, you can keep the banner on all your pages, but the Contact Us section. Besides, you can create completely different banners for each page of your site, if needed. These won’t be duplicated automatically.
Other updates include improved padding for column dividers, online store SEO improvements and custom panel widget customization.
Actually, these improvements don’t bring anything remarkable to the website building market, yet it’s nice to see that there’s something cooking in the Yola developers’ oven.
